Honeywell H-800 Series

The first computer in the Honeywell H-800 Series was shipped in December of 1960. It was the first Honeywell computer to use solid-state technology1.

The table below displays the specifications of the H-800 system.

1. In the late 1950's, Honeywell delivered nine Datamatic D-1000 Vacuum Tube Systems to US customers including the Weather Service and the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad.

2. The H-801 had a clock rate of 750 nanoseconds.

3. The H-1801 had a cycle time of 2 microseconds and a clock rate of 250 nanoseconds.
