Kitten Names

Beggar Boy Picks Names

Received: 13Nov2006

A while back, I adopted two kittens. At the time, I was put under great pressure to quickly select a name for each of them. I was not amused. But, after considerable thought, I decided to name them after my uncle and aunt who raised me (both sadly have gone to the great litterbox in the sky).

My uncle Livingston was a fine stepfather to me but when he was young, he came home with what appeared to be an animal. Upon closer inspection, my uncle Livingston had “killed” a Buster-Brown shoe and was called Buster his entire life (except by his banker, of course). Therefore, I hereby notify all interested parties that my male adopted kitten shown at the left shall be called “BUSTER”.

My aunt was also very kind to me in spite of the fact that her father insisted on naming her Buckingham. After a while her mother put her paw down and gave her the nickname of Bunkie because she spent a lot of time sacked out, especially on weekends. Therefore, in honor of my dear aunt, I hereby notify all interested parties that my female adopted kitten shown at the left shall be called “BUNKIE”.

IN WITNESS HEREOF, I hereunto set my paw this twelfth day of November in the year two-thousand and six.
